I had my first swim lessons at Emler school. I had a great time and learned how to hold my breath and do big splashy kicks. I think I've got a long way to go before I join the swim team, but I sure did learn some great new skills and really enjoyed all the singing and playtime.

After our final lesson, my friend, Katie, and I got our graduate T-shirts. We had so much fun!

We went skiing in Colorado with my Mommy's family for New Years. We had so much fun and I loved my new boots from my Mamaw. My favorite part of the trip was riding "Mo bus" with my cousin, Andrew.

Here's a picture of my "crazy hair" It was a little less humid "up on the Mountain" and my hair didn't exactly have the same ringlet effect...

Rob sent me a really cool article about a Father's wish for a little girl's Christmas. I found it to be very powerful. You may enjoy it as well. Click HERE if you would like to share.

Here are some recent photos of Suzy for Christmas. Enjoy!

A few pics from Suzy's Second Birthday.

We are so blessed to have such a great small group to do bible studies with. This year, we bought matching pajamas for all the girls and tried to have a "photo session". It was quite hysterical really. The girls (all two) had a blast and Ashley was such a trooper to even try and do some "Ring around the Rosey" to help get them laughing and giggling and such. Here's some pics of our little attempt at a photo shoot. We missed out on one of our little angels, Brenna. She was there in spirit!

I'm such an expert cookie maker now! My Grandma Carolyn would be so proud!

Here's another one of my favorites from our Seattle trip. Not sure how my little "Sleeping Beauty" missed being put on the blog.

I was reviewing some pictures for a Christmas Album gift and realized I had omitted a few fun pictures. Here's Suzy's first haircut. Needless to say, it was a disaster. Not only did she HATE it, the lady cut it off in little 1/4" increments. I'm not sure what part of "I want one of those adorable ringlets" she missed. I kept saying it and she kept telling me, "I'm saving all this hair." Yes, in little 1/4" pieces. I was as upset as Suzy in this photo by the time it was all over. I finally took her to the lady who cuts Rob's hair last week for her "real" first haircut. She gave me a nice ringlet and Suzy did great. Of course, I did bribe her with a sucker that she just licked intently while staring in the mirror while sitting on my lap....

We took a trip to the zoo and Suzy had a blast. She did like the tigers, but was far more interested in just climbing on the sidewalks and barriers. It was a lot of fun and she even got to feed some goats with Daddy.

Suzy gives the best kisses these days. I love these of PaPop and Mommy.

OK, so I'm like the 6th person I know to elf myself. But, it's really too funny not to join in. I hope you enjoy!

Mommy got a new light kit for her camera. So far, this is her favorite shot of me. Later this week, we will work on my Christmas photos and 2 y.o. portraits.

To Uncle Jim: My cheerleader is cuter than your cheerleader....
(Although, they both have good genetics.... so it must be the outfit.) wink
To Uncle Jim, Amy, and Mr. Lenfest.... BRING IT ON!

One of my new favorite past times is to collect "corns" and put them in my "pocket". It's so cute to see me stuff anyones pockets full of little acorns. If I find one with a "hat", why that's a big bonus!

I just love this picture from another pumpkin farm we visited this year with my friend from church.

After seeing all the blog posts about sweet berry farm, we decided to make a family outing and check it out for ourselves. We went with my good friend, Brynna's, family and we had an absolute great time! I rode my first horse, fed my first goat, and had some fabulous Mommy and Daddy "Suzy sandwich" time. I believe great fun was had by all.....

Sorry I'm sideways.... The swing is one of my new favorite things. I can even start to do it "all by my big self".

It's just amazing how fast I'm growing. I still love to slide and play outside. I'm so much more fun now that I can communicate a little more effectively. :)

Since Mommy is traveling on Halloween this year, it seems only fair that I get to wear my costume all month and get my "dressed up" pictures early. :) I am really into Kitties right now and that's what I wanted to be for Halloween. Now, last year, I was into Lady bugs and so that was my costume. After Halloween, Mommy noticed that almost ALL of my little friends were also Lady bugs. So, my friend Katie (shown above) was very excited about her costume this year, yup, you guessed it... a Kitty. She bought it way back even before October. Can you blame her? It's adorable! But, when Mommy went out to find my kitty costume, they were all pretty much either Tigers like Katie's (and not nearly as adorable) or a little on the not so appropriate side of things. So, we scoured the internet and found this Kitty costume. I'm pretty certain I will be the only one with this costume in my circle of friends this year! :) Aren't I adorable with my little curls and pink/black Tutu?
