We had lots of fun this year for Easter. Suzy's school had a little egg hunt. My favorite part was how sweet Suzy was. Her teacher gave the class the speech about not getting more than 12 eggs per person. If they found more, they were instructed to give them to their friends. As far as I could see, Suzy was the only one who really followed that rule without reminding. The problem, was that she followed it too well. She filled her friend's baskets first. When she would find a pretty egg, she would get excited and give it away. Then, at the end, she said, "Hey! I don't have any eggs!" So, her teacher asked her classmates to help out and she got all the "duds". It was sweetly sad.

Andy was an "excellent" helper with hiding, er, um... finding the eggs. It's a good thing Aunt Jan was here. Otherwise, it would have been REALLY hard to hide all those eggs with such a little "helper". Although, how could I blame him? He is soooo into any type of sports balls right now. And trucks. He loves trucks. The hunt had both! And he found every single one. I don't have to worry about him being too selfless. ;)

Suzy even helped Andy find the eggs at our own home.

His favorite basket surprise was a bubble tumbler. He really likes bubbles and has even learned how to blow them. I think it's so sweet. Well, until he shakes the container so much that they won't "blow" and then he gets all crazy and demanding and there is just no way to please him.

Suzy got some new Curious George books and has been looking at them every day since.

Even Katie had a good time and found some prizes. Her favorite was the boiled eggs. I suppose it's a good thing neither of my children liked them. ;)

Happy Easter! And remember.... "He is Risen, UnDead!"
