Staying Busy... Every Day

Here are a few photos that have been sitting on my computer for a while. When someone asks me, "What's new?" I think lots of things. It's hard to remember them for me. So, here are some photos that have made me smile in the recent weeks.

We had a "cold" spell her in Austin. It hit 68 degrees. Brrrrrr... ;) Suzy had to don her full winter gear to go out at around 8:30 in the morning. Tough life, kid.

This photo makes me think, "One of these things is not like the other."

I love that the flowers are blooming in the foreground. She is so like me. I'm not a big fan of cold, either, sweet girl. Although, I'm apparently a little tougher than you are. Ha!
I guess Andy is more like Rob. Always on the warm side. He was perfectly fine without any winter gear.
Andy and I are really enjoying my Grandma bike. We went riding at the Y last week while Suzy was in preschool.
I found lots of fun places to take photos. I get to try and take senior photos for our favorite babysitter, Meghan, in a few weeks. She's gonna trade me for a date night. Score! Now that it's so beautiful out again, I am really excited about taking some more photos.

It's not always pretty around here. I just had to capture this. Suzy had the biggest fit she has had in MONTHS. At the Costco. Beautiful. Carolyn and her boys were there to witness it. I was so proud. ;) It was a rough day. Luckily, they are getting fewer and farther between for us. Days like this are a big wake up call for me that I need to be better with her home sensory program.
Suzy is more willing to practice some fine motor stuff with me if it's functional. Yeah, she really is a "mini me". We've been clipping coupons. The funny part is that when we get to the store, she doesn't want to part with them. I guess it's just as well. We shop mostly at HEB and the coupons are usually for Randalls or Walmart anyhow.

We have stick bugs in Texas. I thin they are pretty cool. This one lives near the trampoline.
We have purchased some big furniture type stuff lately and the kids are loving the new slides that the packaging provides.
Pretty fall days mean picnics in the back yard. Thank you, sweet Rob, for working so hard and providing for us so that we can enjoy these fun days at home together.
A fun visit to San Antonio to see my sweet OT friends, Krista and Barb. Three of the five "Ball Brats of Omega Theta Sigma". ;) Love you gals! Always a breath of fresh air to be with you.
Lots of family fun at our Y. Daddy brought dinner after work one particularly beautiful day.
Chick-A-Lay is such a part of our days, it had to be documented.
Enjoyed the fly-in with Tanya and Scott.
A favorite activity of mischief these days is playing in the car. They think they are so rotten. I get to clean out the garage and crackers from the back of the van. Everyone wins!

I tell ya what, seeing these pictures of you and your gorgeous family makes me just miss you to pieces! Tell that techy hubby of yours he needs to invent a teleporter machine so we can visit more often! I would love it if Andy and Carl could play together one day -- and Suzy too!
BIG HUGS!

Chris and I got a hearty guffaw out of the picture of Suzy and Andy and their different reactions to a chilly morning. You got some great pictures in this post!
