My Little Star

Suzy will tell you her favorite song is "Row Row Your Boat." However, she always sings some song that has "Jesus" or "Hallelujah" in it. When she picks up the guitar, however, it's almost ALWAYS some version of "Twinkle Twinkle". Suzy, you crack me up. I love your little spirit and spunk. I may not always appreciate it "in the moment," but I always look back and laugh. I love you so much, sweet girl.
A little "snap"...

Rock it, girl. This is one of my favorites.
I love how she belts it out.

Such spunk. Nice gum. These were all impromptu. I was actually taking photos of Andy in his cowboy hat and she got a little green and had to jump in. I love how she still thinks the guitar is a bass, just like Uncle Jeremy. Even when Daddy has been taking guitar lessens and she sees him hold it horizontally. I was waiting to post until I edited them. But, eh, who knows when that will ever be. Besides, I needed a smile tonight. Maybe you do, too.
A few "Suzyisms" from today...
"My name is Suzanne Hallelujah. Andy's middle name is trouble." (I honestly don't think she got this from me...???)
"My imagination friends can't play today. They are all sick."
"Mommy, do you need some pribacee?" A luxury I sometimes request, but seldom get...
"It's not my favorite thing. I'm not a big fan." Yeah, that one's from me. ;)

One final one I'll share for my sister, just in case she doesn't get around to writing it down. Her son, Andrew, asked for the Easter Bunny's phone number "so he could thank him." How cute is that? She wasn't sure she could find a voice he wouldn't know (he's almost five) and she told him the bunny didn't have a phone since he lived in a tree without electricity. When I called to wish them Happy Easter, Rob's Dad played the part of the bunny. Apparently, he got a hold of a cellphone or something. It was precious.

Super cute! Love the snapping one, and the privacy comment! ;o) Privacy is a thing of the past once you have kiddos, huh!?!

I love the shot with her hip stuck out. And the ones of her singing.
Claire's bedtime routine ends with singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and recently she began "singing" it with me. So sweet!
Privacy. Seriously. What's that?
