Everyday Moments

The kids are growing up so fast. I can't imagine having more than two if it gets faster with each child. Andy's fine motor skills are just about better than Suzy's at this age. This says a LOT since Suzy has always been way ahead in that area. I'm amazed at how he plucks the guitar strings individually. He can also put caps on and off markers. Crazy. Rob was joking that he had the surgeon hands. We used to joke that Suzy would be a great surgeon as well with Rob's dexterity skills and my genetic medical background. Now, I'm more inclined to think Suzy will be a proctologist. Seriously, this kid is STILL obsessed with poop. Rob's mom, Carol, would rather her be a Rheumatologist. We'll see.... Acording to Suzy, she is going to live in Indiana with 9 kids, 7 dogs and work in a factory. Oh, and she's gonna live in a pink motor home parked..... down by the river. I've even got it on video. It's priceless.

Maestro,
Andy loves balls, trucks, and blocks. We definitely see gender differences already.
Still not a ton of hair. Just a big long Donald Trump Do in the back. At his well check, he weighed in at 23# something and it pretty much 50% all around. Still sportin' some seriously stubby legs with an extra long torso. The funniest part about it now is how wide his walking stance is to help him balance all the longness of his upper body.
He can take photos and it's getting harder to catch him in candid moments because he wants to disassemble my camera when he sees it.
I'm not exactly sure how he chipped his front tooth. How's that for the second child? The only time I remember him crying even remotely hard was about a month ago while Rob's parents were here for dinner. There was a little blood and Carol seemed a little more concerned than I was. Hmmmm.... maybe she had it right. Other than that, I have no idea when it could have occurred. Doesn't seem to bother him too much.
Just hanging out in the box from Rob's Birthday grill...... of last year. I seriously can't believe this thing is still in one piece. Only a few Duck Tape spots. Every kid that comes over here loves it.
He enjoys books MUCH more now. Before, he would just rip the book out of my hands and turn the pages with lightning speed. Now, he'll let me read him little super fast board books. This Ikea spinning chair is another big kid hit around our house. Heck, who am I kidding? Our playroom is a kid paradise. My kids have no idea how lucky they are to have a mommy who is a pediatric OT. ;)
This is one of Andy's favorite words. Can you hear it? "Uoh?"
I made matching little aprons for Suzy and I. Well, matching except hers had an S and mine has an M. It's been fun.
Sweet girl. She loves to play waitress/drive through in the box. I love how she sells chicken nuggest, brocoli, and salad. Although, you really don't get much say. If you order something not on the menu, she'll tell you what you'd rather have instead. I love this stage of make believe. We have piciniks, cabiniks, booger beans, Daddy cheese, Sweet Nala, and lots of made up words I can't even begin to phoneticize.
My favorite part is how well they play together and want to be around one another.
And just to prove my other babies are included in the fun....
The expressions tell it all. Nala (aka The Princess) is completely annoyed but tolerant. Katie (aka The Jester) is not really sure what to think but knows she should react a little nervously. BTW, doesn't her eye look great now? I still can't believe we did that.....
So, there you have it. A little peak into every day for us. Love it. Wouldn't change a thing.
