Aunt Lola's visit

My big sister, Laura, came for a visit this last weekend. She's been coming to stay with us once a month for the past three months as she gets her certification in acupuncture. She's crazy. ;) As we all are. You see, my family is easily bored and we must apparently find new hobbies every few years. I'm doing photography to incorporate into my Mommyhood and she's starting to do acupuncture with some of her medical patients. So, who else to you begin to practice on? Why FAMILY of course. She read my meridians with some fancy machine she bought and apparently, I'm "close to death" or in "acute disease phase." Well, I've felt pretty crummy with my hormones lately.... wink. Anyhow, she decided to poke on me for a test. I thought, sure, why not. Can't hurt, might help, right? Besides, nothing can be worse than all the poking I went through with my ITP. Suzy wasn't too sure. Bless her sweet little heart.

Giving Mommy loves. When I was pregnant with Andy, I had to give blood every week as well to make sure all was still well with me. So, I was surprised at her reaction. She's used to me doing the daily injections and numerous blood draws. I guess it's just been a while.
As you can see, the focus is on the chair. But, can you still make out that sweet little concerned face? Suzy has such a great heart.
I tried to get some photos of the kids with my sister while she was here. Again, it was so hard to get two kids in the same photo. So, I cheated. "One of these things is not like the others..."
I did like this one with "Aunt Lola" and Andy.
and this one with Suzy.

Laura tried to get some shots of me as well. I have very few of me with the kids. I loved this one. I love how they are such buddies.

Sweet girl. I'll spare the post, but the frame immediately after this one has her licking my nose. Yuck! She is so crazy sometimes. Her response, "I was giving you a puppy kiss." So unexpected and full of life.
Although I loved the posed ones, I really prefer to take candid shots. For me, they are so much more fun.
Thanks for coming Aunt Lola! We love you and we will miss you now that your class is over!

So you're saying you'll post "poop" pictures, but you'll spare us from the noes licks?!? ;o) I had to laugh at that one.
