The Big Cookie Bake
So, after we returned home from Indiana, it was time to do our own Christmas preparations. Suzy was helping me sort through some of my Grandmother's old cookie cutters for our own cookies we would make for the neighbors.
We made cookies. LOTS of cookies. I always make sugar cookies, molasses cookies, and white trash. Then, my friend, Tanya, comes over and she makes chocolate chip cookies, chocolate drop cookies, caramels, and pretzels. It's a really yummy mix for all of our neighbors. I think we made close to 30 some odd groupings.
I made a few extras so that Suzy could be a help.
Did I mention that I made LOTS of cookies?
Bags and bags, and plates and plates of cookies. I had to get the wide angle lens to capture them all! Yummy fun!

I even made a nativity cookie set. The funny part was, no one wanted to eat the baby Jesus. Rob joked that it was just like taking communion really "This is my body... " We decided next year that we would just leave him out for Santa to remind him the true meaning of Christmas. :)
