More pre-Christmas fun
After our New Parents Christmas party, some of the families headed out to do some caroling. It was a ton of fun! Since it was our neighbors, Suzy was very excited about ringing the doorbells and singing her favorite carol, "Jingle Bells". This was definitely a highlight of the season for me and I hope we are able to do it again next year. My neighbors just LOVED it and one neighbor even told me she was bummed to be gone and have missed it.
Aren't these just the cutest little carolers you have ever seen?
We did lots of light looking as well. Many a night after bath, Daddy would brew up some "warm chocolate" and out they would head. The game was, if you see Santa you have to say, "Ho Ho Ho". Snowmen - "Frosty! Frosty!" and a nativity gets a bellowing "Happy Birthday Jesus!" It's just one way I try to add a little fun and game to keep Suzy's interest going for the activities I find enjoyable.
Aunt Ashley brought these nativity ornaments to our small group. Suzy had an absolute ball coloring this. She proudly displayed it on the tree and it is packed to return next year with the other favored ornaments. Thank you Aunt Ashley!
This is one proud OT Momma. Just look at that grip... and the staying in the lines.... Ahhhh. (I actually can't take any credit for this, she just does it. I've never given her any "therapy." ;)
