Many Mommas Photos

About six months ago, I took some photos of some of my friends at church who were pregnant within about a month of so of me. We've got an awesome church group full of New Parents and they have been such a blessing to my family, I just can't even explain it to you. I am so excited about the idea that Andy will have some good friends to hang out with as he gets older. It's so nice when the parents and kids all get along.

Anyhow, I keep looking for guinea pigs to practice taking photos with, and thought this would be a really fun opportunity that wouldn't present itself again for me ever! They were really good sports and even agreed to do a follow-up session with me yesterday.

Here's our "before". Special thanks to Jan for helping with this last year!

Here's "after". We all had boys, except sweet little Hannah on the far right. Unfortunately, Wren and Braden couldn't make it since he was sick. Poor guy. We missed you!
We left a spot for you, though!
I took a lot of fun shots. I used the session not only to try and get some good photos for my friends, but to also learn some things about my camera. Unfortunately, with any learning curve, you will have some mistakes. This photo shoot I learned the importance of ISO and how if it's too high, your images will be "grainy". But, all in all, I took around 300 photos. By the statistics I've read, if you like just three of these, I've done a great job! :) I hope you enjoy these sweet little faces.

I love this shot, it's hard to tell here, but Lane is snuggled into his mommy and just looks so content. For me, it's a warm fuzzy shot.

I had so much fun! Thanks again, dear friends!
