Happy Birthday Jesus!

Our good friends hosted a birthday party for Jesus before service on Christmas Eve. I think it is safe to say that everyone had a great time. Thank you, Diana, for making the effort to make this such a fun event for us. I hope this tradition continues. I know Suzy and I will both be looking forward to it. Diana also posted some photos on her blog.

The evening began with a reading of the Christmas story from Lane's Children's bible.

Then, confetti was thrown in celebration. I believe Brynna helped her Mommy cut the confetti as an earlier craft. A fine job indeed.
What's a party without a cake? Three candles for the trinity. So thoughtful.
After cake, Diana helped the girls make reindeer food.
I thought it fitting that they wear antlers as they feed the reindeer. I love how cute they are together. (Great photo by Diana)
"The boys" just hung out. Ironically, we dressed them in identical outfits this night. Can't you just hear them... "Hey, check this out..cover me..." "I got yur' back."
I just had to include this photo of Lane. He's the second cutest little boy ever. I just adore those little dimples. I don't understand how Diana has not kissed them off yet. ;)
