British Museum

This was probably a highlight of the trip for Rob. THE BRITISH MUSEUM! Woohoo! He literally spent the entire day in there. Now, don't get me wrong. I love a good museum and it was great for him and I'm so happy he loved it so much. If I were a bigger person, I would have pretended to like it more. The truth is, I love Rob dearly. I do not, however, love rocks and dead things. He wanted to really soak it all in and I was more interested in getting a general over-view and moving on. Oh, how I wish Steve Jones could have been in London that day...

I did find some things that truly interested me.
I thought about buying this game in the gift shop. But, I figured Chris Lenfest would already own it or immediately become the superior player. So, neh, I'll let him buy it. Tee-hee... we love you, Chris. We can admit defeat to you before we even begin. ;)
The Rosetta Stone. That was pretty cool.
Other than that, it seemed to me like a lot of repeat from the Louve and countless other museums we had already been to. So, I did what a good selfish, American wife would do. I took the credit card to Herrods! I'm such a tourist. This is the Memorial statue for Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed, Herrod's son.
Here is the shrine that holds the supposed engagement ring he gave her that night.
Pretty impressive. But, I still think mine is better. Nah, nah, nah - Princess.
Harrods was pretty amazing. I got a lot of cool things for the kids. My shopping would be the next day...
