When I saw the "Love Light" sessions that Jodi does over at A Mom and Her Camera, I thought I'd give it a try. It's my first time, but I'm pretty pleased with the results! Besides, how bad can photos be - I'm in London for goodness sakes!
So, the idea is this. Jodi takes a couple out at night and they just look around for any and all available light. They get all cuddly and she snaps away for some great keepsakes for the couple. I especially love some of the ones she has done near the St. Louis arch. Anyhow, we didn't have a photographer following us, so we had to do the best we could with my remote (you may see it in some of the photos...) and gorilla-pod tri-pod. Plus, we had to keep the camera pretty close to us, as Rob had some pretty strict rules about how far away we could set it up for fear of someone snatching it! Add to that Rob's absolute disgust at having spontaneous pictures posed and the general idea of any photos of himself and well, conditions weren't ideal. But I still had a great time and Rob loves me enough to tolerate me. Thanks, Jodi, for the inspiration!
We began our journey in Paris at a little cafe.

Here we are on the river in Paris.
This was during our visit to England's largest bookstore, Waterstones. I was looking all over to try and find a book with a man on the front and a woman on the back. If they were kissing, that would be even better. I did find one with just two people, but the woman's boobs were showing. Rob wasn't a fan. Even though I pleaded and promised to put a bikini on her in photo shop, he vetoed it. We ended up getting scolded by the security. I guess you can't take photos in a bookstore. Who knew!
Pashima, anyone?
Who doesn't want to make out in a London phone booth? I actually really like the way this one turned out.
A little Green Park Lovin'.
I love the British flag on the lit up castle in the background.
OK, so I look horrible. But how cool is the double decker bus blasting by?
Walking across the REAL London Bridge.
Hold my hand! These rail lines scare me!
I wanted to get a shot next to these really cool blue gates. But, I was told, "No more."
I think he meant it. (I love this picture. I don't get this look often. But when I do, I certainly deserve it! I only posted a few here, but literally hundreds had been taken.)
