Today was my day to watch both girls. Since her Mommy doesn't blog, I'm not sure how she feels about photos on the web. So, here are some from today of my kiddos. We had some fun water play while Andy napped. I still think this is one of my best ideas. Let the sprinkler fill up the tubs. It's like having a baby pool without all the mess. At this age, the kids are still small enough to get inside. Plus, it keeps the sprinkler on low so it doesn't use nearly as much water.

Suzy likes to add shaving cream. We got the idea to "wash" cars and boats from my friend, Debbie.

The slapping the hands together to make a huge mess? .... That is ALL SUZY.

You may see this photo as body art. I see it from an OT perspective. She is learning how to hold the chalk and how much pressure is required to make marks. It's one of the most fundamental parts of pre-handwriting. You see, when kids can write on themselves, they learn what the pressure feels like both in their hand as well as on their body (later translated to the paper). It may seem trivial to some, but to an OT, this is pretty big stuff. Plus, maybe she will get this whole "inking myself" thing out of her system early.... ;)

After lunch, we broke out the dress up clothes. My little Princess Ballerina.

Andy wanted to play.

Admit it, I just caught you humming the "YMCA" song. Sorry, I couldn't resist. I didn't see it myself until I started uploading the photos.

He's official. He's got a badge.

Is it just me? Or do you see it? There is just something about this photo that makes me think of a police officer in a donut shop.

And because my "First Baby" doesn't get enough blog time....
