The "Real" London Bridge (For Cynthia)

We are learning on the fast track over here in London. Simple things. Things that we take for granted in the US. Things like, "What the heck is "still" water? Just that. Water without bubbles. There are many others that you probably have heard a ton of, but this one stumped both Rob and I. The waiters would ask, "Do you want your water still?" And we were like, "UM... yeah.. haven't changed our minds." or, "Do you want still or spakly (sparkling - but non-understandable as such) water?" Umm... I don't know... just water (then I feel all brilliant and add - NO ICE! - smile)....? Then the question repeats.
We are also becoming pros at the buses and subways and the many characters that ride upon them. Can you see Robin Hood and his Merry Men? Apparently one of his men is Caesar.
Scary at first, but quite convenient after you get the hang of them.
And, for my sweet friend, Cynthia. I mis-represented the actual London Bridge. My previous post was actually of the Tower Bridge. So as not to be disappointed, we set out to find the Real Deal. This post card from Arizona was in a pub at one end.
Along with a detailed map below to illustrate.
NOW, we have crossed the LONDON BRIDGE.
Just checking.
Making sure.
No mistake this time, we found the London Bridge. ;) Thanks, Cynthia!

Although, ahem... not nearly as impressive as the Tower Bridge... ;)

Oh I forgot about the water! I remember trekking all over London and finally finding a grocery store (because we were too cheap to buy food stuff anywhere else) and using our last pound for the day on sparkling water by mistake!! Try chugging that stuff when your dehydrated - it burned! Gross!

Glad my little history lesson taught you something. :) And, you'd be happy to know, Ethan is pulling up to standing like crazy.
