window crayon fun

Andy was sick when we got home (more on that soon) so for our pre-school co-op the only one willing to brave it was Brynna since she had likely already been exposed. Here are the girls having some fun with window crayons. I love these things! Plus, it's a resistive medium on a vertical surface. The OT in me says, "Hooray!" These will definitely be going in my treatment bag if I ever go back to work.

They were a big hit with the girls, too. Even Andy got in on the action. Although, I think he preferred to just eat the caps.
These made me think of my OT days. One of my little tricks used to be to take shaving cream and have kids sit in front of a mirror. I could then give them a "beard" and have them practice shaving it off. It was good for weight bearing, midline crossing, etc... blah blah treatment blah.

Anyhow, I thought these crayons would be fun in a similar kind of way. Since we just got back from England, I was thinking of royalty. Brynna wanted her "king" to have a beard. Oh, and earrings.
Suzy wanted glasses, a tall hat, and a mustache. And earrings. I missed the alignment a bit on the pink earrings.
I think these will definitely be coming out again soon. Even Rob enjoyed them and there is talk of him using them in addition to his love of dry erase boards. What is it about nerds and dry erase boards?
